Modern Jewish Philosophy and Religion: Translations and Critical Studies
Barbara E. Galli and Elliot R. Wolfson, editors

Jewish thought from Moses Mendelssohn to the present, concerning specific themes or thinkers, as well as edited translations and updated editions of classics in the field. This series is completed, and titles are still in print.

Barbara E. Galli is professor of religious studies at McGill University. Her books include Franz Rosenzweig and Jehuda Halevi: Translating, Translations, and Translators, a finalist for the Raymond Klibansky Book Award. Elliot R. Wolfson is the Abraham Lieberman Professor of Hebrew and Judaic Studies at New York University. His many books include Through a Speculum That Shines: Vison and Imagination in Medieval Jewish Mysticism, which was awarded the American Academy of Religion Award for works on religious history and the National Jewish Book Award for excellence in scholarship.
