History of Ireland and the Diaspora
James S. Donnelly, Jr., and Thomas Archdeacon, Series Editors

By linking Ireland and Irish America, this series recognizes the many forms of historical interaction between the Irish at home and abroad. The series welcomes books that are transatlantic in their scope and concerns. The linkage also recognizes the extent to which Irish-American history has come to rival Irish history in the maturity and sophistication of its scholarship.

In addition to works of original research, the editors are keen to publish works of broader design that seek to consolidate scholarship on a given subject and to present findings in forms particularly well suited to students and general readers.
